Flexibility at the Pump
Delivering 310 horsepower and 365 lb.-ft. of torque, the 5.4L SOHC V8 engine of the 2012 Lincoln Navigator is flex fuel capable, which makes it powerful and versatile. You can fill up with E85 (a blend of ethanol and gasoline), regular gasoline, or any combination of the two. And its strength goes beyond the gas pumps. Navigator can tow up to 3946 kg (8,700 lbs.) when properly equipped.

The 2012 Lincoln Navigator utilizes its six-speed automatic transmission to deliver quick acceleration and smooth power while improving shift quality through the transmission's small steps between gears.

You can't control the weather, but Navigator's standard Control Trac® Four-Wheel Drive (4WD) system can help you deal with it by giving you more traction for wet or snowy surfaces, or even improved handling on dry roads.
The convenient Automatic Four-Wheel Drive monitors all four wheels and when encountering slippery conditions, sends more torque to the wheels with the best traction.
You're in for a Smooth Ride
The 2012 Lincoln Navigator has a multilink independent rear suspension that allows each rear wheel to react independently. This helps Navigator deliver a refined ride with outstanding handling, while easily maintaining its composure over uneven road surfaces.
