Ford BlueCruise — Hands-Free Highway Driving

Cluster screen showing BlueCruise in the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E

Enjoy a “hands-off, eyes-on” driving experience with available Ford BlueCruise.Tooltip On over 130,000 miles of prequalified sections of divided highways called Hands-Free Blue Zones, this technology brakes, accelerates and steers the vehicle in the lane.

A mode indicator in the display cluster will notify you when it’s safe to take your hands off the wheel, so you can let your Mustang Mach-E do the hard work while you savor the ride.

Worried you’ll get a little too relaxed? The advanced infrared driver-facing camera can track head position and eye movement, even through most sunglasses. If your eyes wander from the road, you’ll be prompted to refocus and take control. It’ll also let you know if you need to take the wheel for safety reasons.

Plus, if you need to change lanes or swerve to avoid an object, the feature will automatically disengage until you’re recentered in your lane.

Excited to hit the road? That’s how it feels when you let Ford BlueCruise and Mustang Mach-E take the wheel.
