For charging at home, where most electric vehicle owners charge their vehicles, each Ford electric vehicle will come standard with a Ford mobile charger capable of charging using multiple outlet types: slow and steady through a standard (120V) electrical outlet or faster overnight (34km per hour) through a higher-voltage (240V) electrical outlet, often used for large household appliances.
Ford will also offer a Ford Connected Charge Station where you can:
- Remotely turn your charging on and off
- Control charging speeds
- Track charging history
- Monitor your vehicle’s home energy usage
- Lock and unlock the charger through the FordPassTM appTooltip
- Integrate your charger with Alexa and Google HomeTooltip
Ask your local EV-Certified Dealer about home installation options to better understand the cost to upgrade your home outlet for faster charging with the charge cord or install the Ford Connected Charge Station.
