Electric Power-Assisted Technology (EPAS)

Electric power-assisted steering (EPAS) automatically adjusts to deliver the precise feel and control you need at higher speeds, as well as the assistance slower speeds require. EPAS features drift control and active nibble control. Drift control detects road conditions – such as a crowned road surface or crosswinds – and adjusts the EPAS to compensate. Active nibble control uses the EPAS motor to reduce unwanted vibrations in the steering wheel. The result — comfortable driving and responsive steering.
