Reducing weight is an effective way to increase payload. As a matter of fact, the F-150® body and bed are built of lightweight, high-strength, military-grade aluminum alloy. When you add power by the legendary available Ford 5.0L V8 you can get an available payload rating of 3,315 lbs. *

Available Ford BlueCruise, hands-free highway driving technology coupled with the available Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control, Stop-and-Go, Lane Centring, and Speed Sign Recognition features, allow the driver to operate their vehicle hands-free while being monitored by a driver-facing camera to make sure you’re keeping your eyes on the road. This feature is compatible with pre-qualified sections of divided highways called Hands-Free Blue Zones that more than over 200,000 km of North American roads including Canada.146

This feature is designed to scan the road ahead and can alert you to a potential collision with a vehicle or pedestrian detected ahead of you118. If an impact becomes imminent and you don’t take corrective action, the brakes can apply automatically. But they’ll only activate if they’re needed.10

    Unlit roads, dark peripheries and other low-visibility situations don’t have to catch you off guard. Auto High-Beam Headlamps can sense poor lighting conditions and switch on to light your path ahead. They even sense oncoming headlights and dim automatically so you don’t have to worry about blinding other drivers. So you can keep your focus – and both hands on the wheel.10
