    Available Smart Hitch utilizes the latest technology to help you distribute the weight in your trailer. Smart Hitch activates through your Centre Touchscreen to determine your approximate trailer tongue weight. Smart Hitch informs you before you head out that your trailer weight is distributed correctly. It is designed to help you easily load your trailer and practice safe towing. Smart Hitch measures the tongue weight of your trailer through the connection process, calculating its appropriate weight and guiding weight distribution onscreen with the FordPass® App,99 Smart Taillamps or on your SYNC® 476 screen.     ONBOARD SCALES

    This class-exclusive* available feature measures approximate payload weight. You can view the onboard scales status through the SYNC® 476 Screen, Ford Pass® App99 or via an LED visual display in the Taillamps that lets you know your load status. That way you know what you’re carrying doesn’t exceed the weight your vehicle can handle.

    The available Smart Trailer Tow Connector informs you if something regarding your trailer needs attention. Just view the tow activity screen to find out information such as when your tow or turn indicator or brake lamps are out or trailer battery problems arise.

    DYNAMIC HITCH ASSIST10

    Dynamic hitch assist10 can help when you’re trying to line up with and attach a trailer to your F-150® pickup. Put your truck in Reverse, and your backup camera will turn on. Dynamic hitch assist will be your on-screen guide to help you align your hitch with a trailer using the lines that indicate the direction your truck will travel in reverse. No need for spotters, double-checks or getting out of the cab.

    AVAILABLE CONTINUOUS CONTROLLED DAMPING

    The available Continuously Controlled Damping (CCD) system dynamically adjusts shock absorber stiffness in real time to match the road surface and driver inputs. It’s fully automatic depending on the drive mode you select. It monitors suspension position, vehicle loading, vehicle speed, road conditions and steering to adjust suspension damping for enhanced vehicle control, particularly when towing or hauling heavy loads.
