Available All Wheel Drive with AWD Disconnect

This system* detects when AWD is not needed. It disconnects the rear driveline, using only the front wheels to propel the vehicle.

*Not available on Plug-In Hybrid models. All-Wheel Drive Disconnect is a holistic system that includes new precision-controlled electric motors that can enable or disable driveline torque to the rear wheels, seamlessly and automatically, without the driver having to engage the system at all.
