    The available 3.5L PowerBoost™ Full Hybrid V6 engine is breaking ground with the collective might of gas and electric energy. Its impressive power comes through with 430 horsepower, 570 lb.- ft. of torque* and a maximum 12,700 lbs. of towing capability. **

    How can an engine displacing just 2.7 litres deliver a robust 325 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque? Engineer it with the Ford port-fuel and direct-injection (PFDI) system with two injectors per cylinder, dual overhead cam design with variable intake/exhaust cam timing, plus twin intercooled turbochargers for on-demand power. Its upper block and cylinders are made of the same high-strength compacted graphite iron used in the Super Duty® 6.7L Power Stroke® Diesel.

    The 3.3L Ti-VCT V6 delivers responsive performance with 290 horsepower11 and 265 lb.-ft. of torque.11 The twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT) opens/closes the valves in precise duration to suit operating conditions, so power output is optimized at every point across the performance band. The 3.3L also has the Ford port-fuel and direct-injection (PFDI) system with two injectors per cylinder.

Under the unique Raptor® hood is the 24-valve, 3.5L Twin-Turbo High-Output EcoBoost® with Ford port-fuel and direct-injection (PFDI) system and 10-Speed Automatic transmission, generating an enormous 450 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft. of torque. * Available only on Raptor,® your off-road adventures just got a whole lot wilder.

    10-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

    All F-150® engines now deliver their power through an advanced 10-Speed Automatic Transmission. The 10-speed delivers impressive overall performance, with enhanced acceleration at the low and mid ranges of the power band. Features include optimized wide-span gear spacing coupled with drag-reduction actions plus 3 overdrive gears. With the available 3.5L PowerBoost™ Full Hybrid Engine, the transmission is specially modified to include an integrated 33kW electric motor.

    AVAILABLE SELECTABLE DRIVE MODES

    Selectable Drive Modes have their own avatars and themes that display in your cluster. Each of the available modes creates an instrument panel environment that matches your action. With Selectable Drive Modes: Normal, ECO, Sport, Tow/Haul, Slippery and Trail (4x2 only)* and Selectable Drive Modes: Normal, ECO, Sport, Tow/Haul, Deep Snow/Sand and Mud/Ruts (4x4 models only). FX4 equipped trucks, Tremor® and Raptor® add unique modes like Rock Crawl and more.

      MUD/RUTS

      Locks the 4WD system while boosting torque and allowing wheel spin to help maintain forward momentum. Included on 4x4 models.

      ROCK CRAWL

      When this mode is selected, it locks 4WD and holds lower gears longer to minimize shifting; accelerator dampens to minimize throttle response. Included with the FX4 Off-Road Package, Tremor® and Raptor.®

      SLIPPERY

      Controls throttle response to reduce over acceleration plus regulates shift points for confident handling.

      DEEP SNOW/SAND

      Selecting this mode engages 4x4 auto, which lowers throttle response and holds gears longer to optimize shift points and engine torque. On 4x4 models only.

      SPORT

      When selected, 4x4 auto is engaged for better on-road traction while holding gears longer, increasing throttle response and firmer shifts.

      TOW/HAUL

      Helps reduce the amount of upshifts and downshifts when hauling a trailer in stop-and-go traffic or through rolling hills.
