Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned pro at backing up a trailer, the available class-exclusive* Pro Trailer Backup Assist™ makes it easy.9 Rotate a knob on the instrument panel left or right in the direction you want the trailer to go. It’s that simple. Initial setup required.

PRE-COLLISION ASSIST WITH AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING (AEB)

The available Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)118 feature scans the road ahead and can alert you to potential collisions with vehicles detected in your path. If an impact becomes imminent and you don’t take corrective action, the brakes can apply automatically. But don’t worry – they’ll only activate if they’re needed.10

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL

Available Adaptive Cruise Control and Forward Collision Warning with Brake Support10 takes conventional cruise control to a new level. It lets you select the speed and distance you want to maintain from the vehicle in front of you. When traffic ahead slows down, you automatically do too, and later resume the preset speed when traffic picks back up. Getting too close to the vehicle ahead? Forward Collision Warning with Brake Support can alert you to a potential collision: A head-up display simulating red brake lights will flash on your windshield, and an audible alert will sound. If you don’t react in time, the brakes will precharge and increase sensitivity, providing full responsiveness when you do brake.10

BLIS® (BLIND SPOT INFORMATION SYSTEM) WITH TRAILER COVERAGE

Available BLIS® with Trailer Coverage10 can help ease lane-change anxiety – even with a trailer in tow. It’s rush hour on the highway. You’re towing a boat. And you need to change lanes. If this situation sounds daunting, it usually is. It can alert you not only when a vehicle is spotted in your blind spot but also when one is alongside the trailer.10

LANE-KEEPING ALERT

Available Lane-Keeping Alert10 can help you stay in your lane. It happens. Maybe you’re caught up listening to your favourite podcast or need your morning coffee, but you’ve wandered a little too close to the edge of your lane. Luckily, even during a moment of distraction. This smart feature scans your vehicle’s position between the lines in the road ahead and can alert you if you’re starting to edge out of your lane. Having trouble staying on track? After you’ve drifted a few times, you’ll see a coffee cup icon, letting you know it’s time to take a break.10

AUTO HIGH-BEAM HEADLAMPS

Available Auto High-Beam Headlamps can sense poor lighting conditions and switch on to further light your path ahead.10 We’ve all been there. Heading into a pitch-black stretch of road and having to turn on the high beams—then forgetting to turn them off again as oncoming traffic approaches. Available Auto High-Beam Headlamps can sense oncoming headlights and dim automatically so you don’t have to worry about blinding other drivers, allowing you to keep your focus—and both hands—on the wheel.10

STANDARD REAR VIEW CAMERA

The standard Rear View Camera may not be an extra set of eyes, but it does provide a great view of what’s behind your vehicle. Between glancing in the rearview mirror and craning your neck, backing up requires a little multitasking. So we help make it easier. Just make sure to keep the camera lens free of debris (like snow or dust) and you can navigate in Reverse with more confidence.10

HILL DESCENT CONTROL™

Steep hills are often tricky to navigate. Available Hill Descent Control™ 10 can help make the situation easier – and anxiety-free – by doing just what its name says. It helps you maintain a set speed when you’re driving down a steep incline, by automatically applying the brake when needed.10

TRAIL CONTROL™

It’s like cruise control for when you’re off-road. Available Trail Control™ is a driver-activated cruise control system that helps you navigate more easily off the road, so you can focus all your attention on the thrill of steering over the demanding terrain.10

ULTIMATE TRAILER TOW CAMERA SYSTEM WITH PRO TRAILER BACKUP ASSIST™

Included:


  • 180/360-Degree Cameras — images are created from cameras for a view of all sides of the truck. 
  • Trailer Reverse Guidance — expanded view via cameras in the side view mirrors and visual guides in the centre dash screen show the direction of the truck and the trailer, with guidelines changing with steering wheel movement.10
  • Centre high-mounted stop lamp camera — provides a view of the pickup bed, which is helpful when hooking up to a 5th-wheel or gooseneck hitch.
  • Pro Trailer Backup Assist9 — rotate the Pro Trailer Backup Assist knob to help maintain greater control over backing up your trailer.

WIRELESS CHARGING PAD

The available Wireless Charging Pad51  accepts a wide range of devices with built-in charging capability. Simply set your phone with charging side down on the pad, located in the centre console, while the vehicle is either running or in accessory mode. When your phone is fully charged, the unit will maintain it even while you’re streaming music or making a call through the available SYNC®  476  system.

UPFITTER SWITCHES

Super Duty® offers available Upfitter Switches, located in an overhead console, for a variety of aftermarket accessories, such as a winch, lights, strobes, two-way radio. They’re factory-installed, so there’s no need to cut into the truck’s electrical system. Six switches include two 40-amp switches (ignition on or off) plus four 25-amp switches (ignition on).

TRUCK APPS

The available 8” LCD productivity screen puts helpful information about a wide variety of vehicle functions on up to seven screens readily available through My View and easily accessed with controls on the steering wheel. For towing, input, track and save information about specific trailers and manage how you use them. The off-road tools include displays of lateral, vertical and turning radius information as well as the 4x4 system and traction control status.
