Find Yourself in the Backcountry

Canada has a way of showing you what you’re made of. Out here, every rock face, trail, and unexpected turn is another chance to see what you can do.

The Way Is Bronco

The difference between imagining a journey and living it comes down to grit, gumption, and having the right 4x4 tool for the trail.

When the route gets rougher, steeper or less predictable, it’s built to tackle the terrain. Whether you choose a 2-door Bronco or a 4-door, you get serious off-road capability, available G.O.A.T. Modes, and the ground clearance to get the job done.

When the pavement gives way to gravel or the roads go from wet to icy, it handles the drive ahead with ease.

A grey Ford Bronco demonstrates off-road capability and underbody protection while crawling over large rocks and stone slabs in a quarry-like terrain.

Select from seven available G.O.A.T. Modes designed to help you navigate all types of terrain and respond to Canada’s ever-changing conditions.

Concentrate on choosing your path, not your pedals. While you do that, available Ford Trail Control® takes charge of acceleration and braking at low speeds.

Getting Out There Never Gets Old

In 1966, Bronco arrived with a simple, purposeful design built for life beyond the pavement. Offered as a Roadster, Sports Utility and Wagon, each of these iconic old Ford Broncos brought its own take on rugged versatility to give Canadians more ways to explore than they could before.

Across four more generations, Bronco kept evolving for the way people lived and explored. The ’70s brought greater size and off-road capability, with available heavy-duty shocks and two standard V8 engines. The ’80s advanced efficiency, handling and everyday drivability through innovations like electronic fuel injection and independent front suspension. Through the ’90s, new technology, refinements, and customization made Bronco more versatile than ever. But through every evolution, the rugged spirit of the original remained.

Today’s Bronco brings that original design philosophy into a new era. Advanced off-road technologies help you tackle more challenging terrain, removable doors and roof bring the outside closer, and modern creature comforts, like driver-assist features make the journey more responsive.

Sixty years later, the technology has changed. But the instinct to explore the wonders of the Canadian wild hasn’t.
