A TOUGH TRUCK DESIGNED TO MAKE YOUR JOB EASY.

Today’s Ford Super Duty® Chassis Cab is tougher and more capable than the previous generation. It’s designed to make your job easy with its spacious cab and ride comfort, as well as the available productivity features, such as the FordPass Connect112 system.
Super Duty can also enhance your bottom line from the outset by helping upfitters get your  vehicle body completed and on the job as quickly as possible.

AVAILABLE CLASS-EXCLUSIVE* PROGRAMMABLE UPFITTER INTERFACE MODULE

With the complexity of a vehicle’s electrical system, upfitters need to properly and consistently connect their electrical equipment to a vehicle’s Controller Area Network (CAN) busses or ports. Super Duty® makes this job easy with its available class-exclusive* factory-installed programmable upfitter interface module that allows a direct CAN programmable logic interface to control devices quickly and simply using a laptop or notebook.

SIX FACTORY-INSTALLED AUXILIARY UPFITTER SWITCHES

Six standard factory-installed auxiliary upfitter switches include two 40-amp switches (ignition on or off) plus four 25-amp switches (ignition on). What’s more, the switches with fuses and associated relays are integrated into the new overhead console/storage compartment. Upfitter switches are a convenient way to connect a variety of aftermarket accessories (such as a winch, lights, strobes, two-way radio) to the vehicle’s electrical system. Because they’re factory installed, there’s no need to cut into the truck’s electrical system when installing accessories. Convenient, easy to use and reliable.

Diesel exhaust fluid gauge

DEF TANK LEVEL GAUGE (DIESEL)

Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) is a nonhazardous solution, 32.5 percent urea and 67.5 percent deionized water. Essential to diesel engine operation, DEF is sprayed into the vehicle’s exhaust stream to break down noxious nitrogen oxide emissions into harmless nitrogen and water. DEF is stored in its own tank because it must be kept separate from diesel fuel*. Instead of using a warning light on the dash to alert you to DEF running low, Super Duty® provides a digital gauge that gives you a real-time measurement of how much DEF is stored.
