BUILT WITHOUT COMPROMISEOne thing we didn’t do with the E-Transit is sacrifice what you need most. For instance, by integrating the battery underneath the body of the vehicle you get the benefits of electricity, without compromising cargo space. And with 3,800 lbs. of maximum available payload you can feel comfortable using every inch of that space to bring what you need along for the ride. ...less
FUNCTIONAL AND ACCOMMODATING
We believe what’s inside counts. So, the E-Transit was designed to make manoeuvring around easy. By redesigning the centre console with a new rotary shifter and replacing the manual parking brake lever with e-brake on the dash, we improved interior walk-through. And the available overhead shelf delete can give you even more headspace when moving around the vehicle. The result is greater functionality and greater productivity. ...lessU.S. Model Shown.

What is the benefit of pre-conditioning the cabin by the fleet manager?
Pre-conditioning of the vehicle cabin can be done by the driver or remotely by the fleet manager, to help improve cabin comfort and preserve range by conditioning while the vehicle is still plugged in to the charger using electricity from the grid, not the battery.
The 120V/240V Ford Mobile Charger, standard with the vehicle, is estimated to add an average range of 17 km per charging hour on Cargo Van Low Roof models when plugged into a 240V outlet*. The 120V outlet is estimated to add an average range of 2.8 km per charging hour on Cargo Van Low Roof models.
*Range and charge time based on manufacturer computer engineering simulations and EPA-estimated range calculation methodology. The charging rate decreases as battery reaches full capacity. Your results may vary based on peak charging times and battery state of charge. Actual range varies with conditions such as external environment, vehicle use, driving behaviours, vehicle maintenance, lithium-ion battery age and state of health.
Will the all-electric Transit also be able to charge in public at non-Ford networked chargers?
Access to Blue Oval™ Charge Network– the largest charging network in North America offered by automotive manufacturers, eliminates the need to register with multiple charging networks or download multiple apps. E-Transit drivers can use the non-Ford networked chargers as well and will need to pay for charging through direct coordination with those providers.
*Based on original equipment manufacturers (OEM)/automotive manufacturers that sell all-electric vehicles and have publicly announced charging networks and using Natural Resources Canada Electric Charging and Alternative Fueling Stations Locator website (www.NRCanada.gc.ca). FordPass, compatible with select smartphone platforms, is available via a download. Message and data rates may apply.

The available Ford Connected Charge Station is Wi-Fi-enabled and can fully power your vehicle overnight. Vehicle charge events can be tracked and summarized for employee reimbursement.
Why should employees charge at home?

Can the batteries be recycled?
The batteries are recyclable. Ford will handle in-warranty battery returns and will provide recycling options for out-of-warranty batteries. Ford is also working with other OEMs for secondary-market opportunities.
