This standard engine is paired with a TorqShift® 6-Speed Automatic with SelectShift® and Tow/Haul Mode for a powerful 335 horsepower and 468 lb.-ft. torque rating while maintaining a low 3,750 rpm.* The 7.3L V8 gas engine generates the raw power and durability required for the heavy-duty applications typical of a Ford Stripped Chassis.

          The Ford TorqShift® 6-Speed Automatic with SelectShift® and Tow/Haul Mode is designed for rugged commercial-duty applications. The SelectShift feature includes progressive range select (for overdrive lockout) plus full manual. And the Tow/Haul mode* automatically compensates for grade and load conditions, delaying transmission upshifts to help reduce the frequency of gear hunting.

          Adaptive Cruise Control

          Available Adaptive Cruise Control10 goes beyond the capability of conventional cruise control, employing both radar and camera technology. Adaptive Cruise Control10 lets you set a cruising speed and distance from the vehicle in front of you, an especially helpful feature in slow traffic conditions. When traffic ahead slows down, you automatically do too; when it picks back up, you can resume your preset speed and distance.174

          Forward Collision Warning

          As part of the Ford Driver-Assist Technology, the available Forward Collision Warning10 can alert you if it senses a potential collision with a vehicle in front of you. An icon displays on the instrument cluster and provides an audible warning. If you don’t react in time, the brakes will precharge and increase brake-assist sensitivity to provide full responsiveness when you do brake.10 Available on the 2025 F-59 Commercial Stripped Chassis.

          Lane Departure Warning

          Available Lane Departure Warning10 can help you stay in your lane, even during a moment of distraction. This smart feature scans your vehicle’s position between the lines in the road ahead and warns you if you’re starting to edge out of your lane. Having trouble staying on track? After you’ve drifted a few times, you’ll see a coffee cup icon, letting you know it’s time to take a break.

          Auto High-Beam Headlamps

          Auto High-Beam Headlamps10 can sense poor lighting conditions and switch on to light your path ahead. They even sense oncoming headlights and dim automatically so you don’t have to worry about blinding other drivers. So you can keep your focus — and both hands on the wheel.10

          Distance Alert System

          The available Distance Alert System10 is designed to help the driver continue at a safe speed while maintaining their distance relative to the vehicle ahead of them. The system adjusts itself according to the movement of the vehicle ahead.

          Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)

          This feature can help reduce the severity of, and possibly eliminate, a frontal collision with a vehicle or pedestrian directly in front of you in certain situations.118 The system can detect a potential collision, then emit an audible alert as well as a warning message displayed in the message centre. What’s more, Automatic Emergency Braking118 can precharge and increase brake-assist sensitivity to provide full responsiveness when you do brake. If you don’t take corrective action and a collision is imminent, the brakes can apply automatically with the Driver-Assist Technology Package.

          Traction Control

          Standard on the 2025 F-Series Stripped Chassis, Traction Control19 System helps maintain your vehicle's grip on the road in unfavourable weather conditions. When the system senses a loss of traction, it applies selective braking in order to keep your wheels from excessively spinning and help maintain traction.

          Electronic Stability Control

          Electronic Stability Control (ESC)19 helps keep you and your business firmly on the road, even in rough conditions. Using information from steering wheel and acceleration sensors, ESC can sense when you start to lose control or traction. When the system senses a loss of traction, it automatically applies selective braking to help prevent your vehicle from sliding sideways and skidding.
