7.3L V8 Gas Engine
The 2025 F-59 Commercial Stripped Chassis is powered by the standard 7.3L 2V DEVCT NA PFI V8 Gas Engine with TorqShift® 6-Speed Automatic with SelectShift® and Tow/Haul Mode. The 7.3L features a free-breathing 2-valve-per-cylinder induction system and generates an impressive 335 horsepower11 and 468 lb.-ft. of torque.11
CNG/Propane Gaseous Engine Prep Package
The available CNG/Propane Gaseous Engine Prep Package for power conversion to compressed natural gas (CNG) or propane autogas is available with all 2025 F-59 Stripped Chassis at time of order. Included are hardened engine intake valves, exhaust valves and valve seats. *
*Vehicle will be equipped with the standard factory gasoline fuel system. This package does not include compressed natural gas/propane fuel tanks, lines, etc. See your Commercial Vehicle Centre dealer for details.
