2019 Ford F 750 utility truck is being shown in Oxford White on the road

Built to Work Hard. Designed to Help Make Your Job Easy.

In addition to working hard, Ford F-650 and F-750 trucks work smart. The work-ready frame is designed to easily accommodate vocational bodies. The Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel engine monitors the diesel particulate filter (DPF) and initiates DPF regeneration when needed. And then there’s the Intelligent Oil-Life Monitor on the diesel that alerts you when the engine needs an oil change based on actual vehicle usage. Brawn meets brains in Ford Medium Duty trucks.

Clean, Easy Upfitting

F-650/F-750 trucks feature a work-ready frame developed with leading upfitters to accommodate most vocational bodies. This collaboration resulted in components such as fuel tanks, wiring harnesses and diesel exhaust fluid reservoirs which are located under the cab instead of behind it on the frame. Choose from 36 standard clean CA offerings (13 Regular Cab, 12 SuperCab, 11 Crew Cab combinations) ranging from 72 to 207 inches (1,829 to 5,258 mm). Ford F-650/F-750 chassis have a standard 34-inch (864 mm) frame width for easy upfitting with any combination.

Active Regen Control

The Ford Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel offers features to monitor and initiate diesel particulate filter regeneration.

When exhaust soot builds up in the diesel particulate filter (DPF), the engine will need to clear the filter of soot through a process called active regeneration. The Power Stroke® diesel offers an Active Regen Control that delays this auto regeneration if the truck is idling over combustible material such as dry grass. When idling, especially for extended periods of time, the engine doesn’t generate enough heat to automatically clear the DPF. That’s when the standard Manual Regen initiation feature comes in. A light on the instrument panel alerts the driver of the need for regeneration, and pushing a button starts the process of raising the exhaust temperature to burn off the soot in the DPF.10

Intelligent Oil-Life Monitor® (Diesel)

The Intelligent Oil-Life Monitor on the 6.7L Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel helps make engine maintenance easy. It tracks oil temperature, filter regeneration cycles, engine idle hours and distance, then alerts you when it’s time to change the oil based on actual vehicle usage.
