How do I manage my vehicle nickname in the Ford app?

You can create or update your vehicle's nickname using the Vehicle Details section of the Ford app. See the steps below for more information. 

Note: You must have a vehicle added to the Ford app to access this feature.

Updating the Ford App Vehicle Nickname 

To add or edit your vehicle nickname:

  1. Log in to the Ford app.

    Note: If you have multiple vehicles added, scroll to the vehicle you want to add or edit the name of. 
     
  2. Select the Vehicle icon to go to the Vehicle dashboard.
  3. Tap Vehicle details under Settings.
  4. Tap the Vehicle Nickname section.
  5. Update or add your preferred vehicle nickname.
  6. Select Save.
