What should I do if my Android smartwatch is not working with the Ford app?
If you experience issues while using the Ford app on your Wear OS™ Smartwatch, we recommend removing and reinstalling the app using the steps below.
Before you begin troubleshooting, ensure:
- Your vehicle's modem is added to the Ford app.
- Your vehicle's modem is activated.
- Airplane Mode is off on all devices.
- Bluetooth® and Wi-Fi® are enabled on all devices.
Troubleshooting the Ford app on your Android™ Smartwatch
To remove the Ford app from your Wear OS device:
- Press the Power button on your watch to wake up your device.
- Hold the Power button again to open the menu of apps.
- Scroll down and tap Google™ Play Store.
- Swipe down from the top of the screen.
- Tap My Apps.
- Select the Ford app.
- Scroll to the bottom of your screen.
- Tap Uninstall.
To reinstall the Ford app on your Wear OS device:
- Press the Power button on your watch to wake up your device.
- Hold the Power button again to open the menu of apps.
- Scroll down and tap Google Play Store.
- Search for the Ford app.
- Tap the app and follow the on-screen instructions.
