How can I find my Ford's Phone As A Key status?

You can view the status of your Phone As A Key™* on the Ford app dashboard. View the steps below for more information.

Viewing Phone As A Key Status

To access your Phone As A Key status, follow the steps below.

  1. Log in to the Ford app.
  2. Scroll down and select Phone as a key under Settings.

One of the following statuses will appear under the device name:

  • Active: The key is active and can be used for Phone As A Key features.
  • Incomplete: The key was generated, but your setup was not completed. The key may be deleted, or you can restart the process.
  • Deleting: The key is in the process of being deleted. 

    Note: The same key cannot be added while it is in the process of being deleted.

If you experience any issues, contact Ford app support using the Account > Contact Help options in the Ford app.
