How do I jump-start my Mustang Mach-E?

If your Mustang Mach-E loses charge and cannot be started, jump-start it using jumper cables and another running vehicle's battery. This is referred to as the booster vehicle.

Since the Mustang Mach-E's controls are electric, a charge will have to be provided to open the door and the hood before attaching cables to the vehicle's battery for a jump start.

How do I access my door and hood if my Mustang Mach-E's battery is dead?

Note: This will only give your Mustang Mach-E enough charge to activate the door and hood release to gain access to the 12-volt battery. Your battery is not being charged yet.
  3. Open the driver's side door and pull the hood release button twice to open the hood.

Note: The location may vary, but for most models, it is located close to the pedals on or near the door.
  4. Detach the booster vehicle's cables from the positive (+) and negative (-) cords of your Mustang Mach-E.
  5. Remove the top and driver's side panel covers inside the hood.

Note: Each arrow in the pictures denotes a connection point. The panels pull apart and snap back on via those connection points. Start at one connection point, beginning at the rear, and work your way around the panel until each is completely detached.
