How do I change the Vehicle Connectivity and Privacy settings on my Ford?
You can enable or disable Vehicle Connectivity through the settings menu of your SYNC®* or Ford Digital Experience®** system using the instructions in this article.
Notes:
- Ford recommends keeping Vehicle Connectivity on for the best update experience.
- All Connectivity Settings must be enabled to access all Ford app† features.
Turning Vehicle Connectivity Settings On and Off
Important: Your vehicle must be parked and running, and in an open location (e.g., free of overhead foliage, ceilings, etc.).
Select your SYNC generation or Ford Digital Experience from the drop-down options below to learn how to modify your connectivity settings. If you need assistance determining the generation of your SYNC system, select the first drop-down option.
Notes:
- If your SYNC generation is not listed, it does not have Vehicle Connectivity.
