Which Ford vehicles are compatible with Apple CarPlay?

Apple CarPlay^®* can be used in select 2016 and newer vehicles equipped with SYNC^®** or Ford Digital Experience^†.

It is available for:

• 2017 and newer vehicles equipped with Ford Digital Experience, SYNC 4A, SYNC 4, or SYNC 3.
• 2016 vehicles equipped with SYNC 3 and software version 2.0 or greater. 

Notes: 

• Apple CarPlay is unavailable on any SYNC systems that do not have a touchscreen.
• Apple CarPlay may require a hardware update from a Ford Dealer to function.
