The 6.8L 2V DEVCT NA PFI V8 gas engine comes standard on the 2026 Super Duty F-350 XLT model. You can also upgrade your engine, with the choice of three available options:

6.8L 2V DEVCT NA PFI V8 gas engine: 405 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque *

Available 7.3L 2V DEVCT NA PFI V8 gas engine: 430 hp and 485 lb-ft of torque

Available 6.7L 4V OHV Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel B20 engine: 475 hp and 1,050 lb-ft of torque

Available 6.7L High-Output Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel B20 engine: 500 hp and 1,200 lb-ft of torque

The 2026 Super Duty F-350 XLT model is available in three cab styles: Regular Cab, SuperCab™, and Crew Cab.

Regular Cab: Available with an 2.4-metre bed.

SuperCab: Extended cabin configuration. Available with a 2-metre or 2.4-metre bed.

Crew Cab: Largest cabin option. Available with a 2-metre or 2.4-metre bed.

The F-450 series generally offers greater towing capacity than the F-350, especially for gooseneck and 5th-wheel towing. While the F-450 is designed with components for extreme hauling and enhanced durability (wider front axle and larger 19.5-inch wheels), certain configurations of the F-350 — particularly those with dual rear wheel and gas engines — can actually offer a higher payload capacity. Choosing between single and dual often comes down to your individual trucking needs. Single rear wheel (SRW) has one wheel on each side of the rear axle. This option is best suited for light to moderate towing and everyday driving, as it offers better manoeuvrability. Dual rear wheel (DRW) has two wheels on each side of the rear axle. This option is ideal for heavy-duty towing and hauling due to its greater stability, higher towing and payload capacity, and improved weight distribution.
