SWING-OUT REAR CARGO DOORS AND DUAL SLIDING DOORS

To suit your particular job needs, Transit Connect Cargo Van models offer you the choice of 180-degree 50/50 swing-out rear cargo doors (with no glass or available fixed glass) or a rear liftgate. On the sides, the choices are the dual or single sliding doors. Choose the doors that fit your needs.

      When the task at hand calls for towing, the Transit Connect Cargo Van comes through with an impressive towing capacity: a maximum of 907 kg. when equipped with the available Trailer Tow Prep Package. * The package includes Trailer Sway Control,19 which helps you tow more confidently by automatically determining from the motion of the vehicle if the trailer is swaying. It then takes measures, such as applying precise braking or reducing engine torque, to help you keep both the vehicle and the trailer under control. Trailer Sway Control is linked to the technology of the standard AdvanceTrac™ with RSC® (Roll Stability Control™).

      AUTO START-STOP TECHNOLOGY

      Standard Auto Start-Stop Technology can help to reduce fuel consumption and vehicle emissions during city driving. It comes standard with the 2.0L GDI I-4 engine. When the vehicle comes to a stop in city driving, the engine is automatically shut off. The climate control and radio stay on, keeping you comfortable.       The available Quickclear™ Electric Windshield Defroster gets you going on the job fast. With the engine running, the press of a button rapidly removes ice, snow or mist. The washer jets are heated, and a thin heating element embedded between two layers of glass provides quick defogging/defrosting.
