Change Automatic Update Settings

 

 

 

Your vehicle will arrive with Automatic Updates ON. However, you do have the ability to set them to manual. We recommend keeping Automatic Updates toggled to ON for the best update experience.

 

SYNC®4

 

From your SYNC® screen:

 

  1. Press Settings
  2. Press System Updates - Depending on your vehicle, this could be on the second or third page of Settings
  3. Toggle Automatic Updates to your preference (ON or OFF)

 

 

SYNC®4A

 

From your SYNC® screen:

 

  1. Press the vehicle icon
  2. Press Settings
  3. Press System Updates
  4. Toggle Automatic Updates to your preference (ON or OFF)

 

 

Note: If Automatic Updates and Notifications are OFF, your vehicle will not receive any updates. This means any new features or critical updates will not be downloaded to your vehicle via Over-the-Air.
