Getting the Most Out of Home Charging
Learn about potential rewards and cost savings by charging your electric Ford vehicle at home.
Can I save money on home charging by setting a preferred charge time?
Many utility providers offer rate plans with pricing that varies by time of day. Preferred charge times can help you maximize your savings by scheduling as much of your charging outside of peak pricing as possible.
Contact your utility provider to see if off-peak rate plans are available in your area.
Can I limit how much my vehicle charges?
Yes. You can limit your vehicle's charging by setting a target charge in the Ford app or your in-vehicle touchscreen. Setting a target charge can help preserve the health of your EV's battery.
