What is Stolen Vehicle Services for my Ford vehicle?
Stolen Vehicle Services* helps protect eligible 2019 or newer model year Ford vehicles with a capable modem by providing 24/7 advanced vehicle security and assistance recovering stolen vehicles.
If your vehicle is stolen, the Stolen Vehicle Services team will work directly with law enforcement to support recovery of the vehicle. They will also work to disable certain features in your vehicle (e.g., the Factory Reset function) and the Ford app**.
Using Stolen Vehicle Services
Once you confirm your vehicle is stolen:
Important: For your safety, always use caution and good judgment when investigating any alerts from your vehicle to prevent confrontations and/or endangering yourself.
- Call the police, so your local law enforcement can help you file a report. Make sure to have a copy of the police report number and contact information.
- Contact us by phone at 1-866-861-0419.
- We will verify your police report with law enforcement so we can begin:
- Tracking your vehicle's location.
- Disabling factory reset functionality.
- Sending you a confirmation email with a summary of your case details.
- Engaging police for case updates, sharing your vehicle locations with them, and requesting they keep you informed on your vehicle status.
- Once the police have verified your vehicle has been recovered and returned, we will deactivate tracking and initiate recovery mode. You will receive an email confirming these changes.

*Available feature. Stolen Vehicle Services requires the Ford app (subject to FordPass Terms), modem activation, and a Connected Service plan. Equipped Ford vehicles come with a one-year Stolen Vehicle Services trial from New Vehicle Warranty start date, after which purchase is required. Customer activation required. Connected service and features depend on compatible network availability. Evolving technology/cellular networks/vehicle capability may limit functionality and prevent operation of connected features. Factory Reset and Customer Connectivity Settings are disabled while Stolen Vehicle Services is active. Requires mobile device push notifications.
