Roadside Assistance for Electric Vehicles

Your Ford vehicle’s touchscreen and the FordPass® app give you real-time information about your Electric Vehicle’s (EV) battery range, alerts you when the battery is low, lets you know the distance to empty, and tells you where the closest charging station is. But if you ever run out of charge on the road, we are here to help.

If your vehicle needs to be towed, Ford Roadside Assistance* will tow your vehicle to one of three locations of your choice within 25 kilometres:

  • A public charging station
  • Your home residence
  • A Ford EV-certified dealer within the Canadian market

If you are more than 25 kilometres from home, Roadside Assistance will tow your vehicle to the nearest charge station or Ford EV-certified dealer. This service is included with the purchase of your EV and is valid for the first five years or 100,000 kilometres, whichever comes first.
