How does Connected Vehicle technology work in my Ford?

A Connected Vehicle communicates and shares information about the maintenance status, potential vehicle malfunctions, and operational conditions with the Ford Prognostics and Analytics Cloud systems (if authorized by the vehicle user). Once received, the data will be processed to evaluate the vehicle's health, and the vehicle owner/operator will be updated accordingly.
