How do I create a FordPass®* account?

Use the steps below to create your FordPass account. If you already have a Ford Account, you can log in using your existing account credentials (username and password) on the FordPass App.

Important:

  • If you have a new device, you do not have to create a new account. Refer to the Existing FordPass and New Device topic for steps on accessing your existing account. 
  • If you lost your device or if it was stolen, you do not have to create a new account. Refer to the Device Lost topic for restoring steps. 

Creating FordPass Account

  1. Download the FordPass App via your respective platform. 
    • App Store®** for iOS®† devices.
    • Google Play™†† store for Android™‡ devices.
  2. Open the FordPass App on your device.
  3. Select your country.
  4. Tap Next.
  5. Select Create an Account.
  6. Enter your email address.
  7. Double check your email address for errors or missing characters.
  8. Press Request Code. 
    • An email will be sent to the email address associated with your account.
    • If you do not see the email, check your spam/junk folder. 
  9. Retrieve the 6-digit code from your email.

  10. Enter your code in the Verification Code field.

    Important: If more than 10 minutes have passed since you requested the code, you will need to request another one by selecting Send New Code. 

  11. Tap Submit.
  12. Enter the following details:
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • A password containing all of the criteria below:
      • Eight or more characters
      • One special character
      • One number
      • One upper-case letter
      • One lower-case letter
  13. Tap the box after reading the terms and conditions/privacy policy.
  14. Select Create Account.

You should be directed to the FordPass app and prompted to add a vehicle to your account.
