Why is the Ford app crashing?

The Ford app may crash if there are issues with device compatibility, outdated app versions, or signal strength. Follow the steps below to ensure your device is up to date and connected.

  1. Ensure that your device is compatible with the Ford app.
  2. Confirm that you have the latest app version installed.
  3. Check your cellular strength and/or Wi-Fi® connection.
    • If using Wi-Fi, check to see if it is enabled.
      • If Wi-Fi is turned off, turn Wi-Fi on and attempt to connect.
      • If Wi-Fi is turned on, turn Wi-Fi off and attempt to connect using cellular data.
    • If using cellular data, check to see if it is enabled.
      • If cellular data is turned off, turn cellular data on and attempt to connect.
      • If cellular data is turned on, turn cellular data off and attempt to connect using Wi-Fi.

If the app continues to crash even though your device is up-to-date and connected, contact Ford app support for further assistance.
