Why is the FordPass App not responding?
If you receive a message stating the FordPass®* App has become unresponsive, attempt the following:
- Check for any FordPass App updates on your mobile device.
- If the update option appears, complete the update and try using FordPass again.
- If the FordPass App shows as up-to-date, continue to troubleshoot using the steps below.
Note: If you are unsure if your app version is up-to-date, search for "FordPass" in your respective app store.
- Check your cellular strength and/or Wi-Fi® connection.
- If using Wi-Fi, check to see if it is enabled.
- If Wi-Fi is turned off, turn Wi-Fi on and attempt to connect.
- If Wi-Fi is turned on, turn Wi-Fi off and attempt to connect using cellular data.
- If using your cellular data, check to see if it is enabled.
- If cellular data is turned off, turn cellular data on and attempt to connect.
- If cellular data is turned on, turn cellular data off and attempt to connect using Wi-Fi.
- If using Wi-Fi, check to see if it is enabled.
Force close FordPass.

iOS devices with a Home button
- Select Settings on your device.
- Scroll down and select Apps in the Device section.
- Select FordPass.
- Tap the Stop or Force Stop option.
- Select OK to confirm the action.
- Select Settings on your device.
- Scroll down and select Apps in the Device section.
- Select FordPass.
- Tap the Stop or Force Stop option.
- Select OK to confirm the action.
- Press the Home button twice.
- Swipe left or right until you locate FordPass.
- Swipe up on the FordPass App.
- Log out of FordPass and then back in.
- Power off your device for 30 - 60 seconds.
