What is the Lifetime Brake Pad Warranty on my Ford?

Ford will provide replacement brake pads at no charge for as long as you own the vehicle, as long as your brake pads meet the following warranty requirements.

• Your vehicle has genuine Ford or Motorcraft^® brake pads fitted to the original vehicle.
• The brake pads were originally purchased and installed at a participating Ford Dealer or Quick Lane service centre.

Important: This warranty only covers brake pads. Labour costs and the replacement or machining of brake rotors, or other brake components, are excluded.

Determining Eligibility

To determine if your vehicle is eligible and claim replacement brake pads under the lifetime warranty: 

1. Schedule a brake inspection at your Ford Dealer.
2. Bring proof of the original brake pad service from the participating Ford Dealership or Quick Lane service centre.

Once inspected, the Ford Dealer will let you know if the brake pads qualify for replacement under the program.
