How do I adjust the temperature in my Ford?
You can adjust your temperature using your vehicle's climate control options, which can be found through SYNC®*, Ford Digital Experience®**, or the center console physical knobs/buttons, depending on what your vehicle is equipped with. Refer to the instructions below to open your vehicle's climate control screen.
Changing Your Vehicle's Cabin Temperature
Select your SYNC generation or Ford Digital Experience from the drop-down options below to learn how to use your climate control menu in your vehicle. If you need assistance identifying your SYNC generation, select the first drop-down option.
Note: Several climate control options (e.g., air conditioning, heated/cool seats, rear temperature control, etc.) may also be available. Actual screens and instructions may vary. For information specific to your vehicle, refer to your vehicle's Owner's Manual.

Ford Digital Experience
You can adjust your vehicle's temperature by pressing the left and right arrows on the bottom left-hand corner of the screen or by swiping up to use a touch-sensitive metre.

SYNC 4A
You can control your vehicle's temperature by pressing the Settings or Home icon on your SYNC screen. Once selected, you can then change the temperature by selecting the + or - icons on the screen or using the volume control knob (depending on your software version).

You can control your vehicle's temperature by pressing the climate icon on the bottom of your SYNC screen. Once selected, you can then change the temperature by selecting the up and down arrows.
You can also use voice commands to adjust the temperature by saying "climate" and then telling SYNC what temperature you would like (e.g., "set temperature to 22 degrees").
Notes:
- You can set a different temperature for the front passenger by pressing the dual button and utilizing the up and down arrows underneath it. You can also turn this feature off by pressing the dual button again.
- If you need to adjust your A/C controls, press the A/C button to view a list of different options.
SYNC with MyFord Touch
You can adjust your SYNC with MyFord Touch® vehicle's temperature by pressing the climate bar on the bottom right side of the Home screen and then selecting the + or - buttons on the left side of the screen.
Note: You can set a different temperature for the front passenger by pressing the Dual button and then selecting the + and - buttons on the right side of the screen. You can also turn this feature off by pressing the dual button again.
You can also use voice commands to adjust the temperature by using the voice button on your steering wheel and saying "climate" and then telling SYNC what temperature you would like (e.g., "set temperature to 22 degrees"). You can also turn the fan speed up or down by saying "climate" and then "increase fan speed."

Escape/Focus/C-Max Equipped with Automatic Climate Controls
You can adjust your vehicle's temperature by pressing the power button. Once selected, change the temperature by adjusting the climate control (Auto) knob to your preferred air temperature.

Note: You can also set a separate temperature for the front passenger by pressing the Max A/C button on the passenger side and adjusting the temperature using the same knob. To turn this feature off, press and hold down the Auto button for 2 to 4 seconds.
