It depends on the model, but the minimum amount of towing capacity for the Bronco Sport is 2,200 lbs, when equipped with the available Class II Trailer Tow Package.

The Big Bend^®, Heritage, and Outer Banks^® (all with the 1.5L EcoBoost engine) models have an available Class II Trailer Tow Package. With the tow package, they have an available 2,200 lb towing capacity.

The Badlands^® (with a 2.0L EcoBoost^® engine) model comes standard with the Class II Trailer Tow Package, giving it a 2,700 lb towing capacity.

What are the engine options for the 2026 Ford Bronco Sport^® SUV?

The Bronco Sport SUV comes with two engine options, depending on the model. The available engines are the 1.5L EcoBoost and the 2.0L EcoBoost engines.
The 1.5L EcoBoost engine with standard 4x4, is on the Big Bend, Heritage, and Outer Banks models. The 1.5L engine has 180 horsepower and 200 lb- ft. of torque.⁶⁸
