Let go of the wheel and grab the future. This technology lets you enjoy hands-free driving more than 209,000 kilometers of divided highways in North America. A driver-facing camera makes sure you're keeping your eyes on the road. It includes the adaptive cruise control system with Lane-Centering assistance system10 and Ford Co-Pilot360™73 Active 2.0 package.
Ford BlueCruise features are supplemental and do not replace the driver's attention, judgment, and need to control the vehicle. Ford BlueCruise is a hands-free highway driving feature. Only remove hands from the steering wheel when in a Hands-Free Zone. Always watch the road and be prepared to resume control of the vehicle. It does not replace safe driving. Hazards along the way can arise, anywhere, at any time. This feature is designed to scan the road ahead and can alert you to a potential collision with a vehicle or pedestrian detected ahead of you. If an impact becomes imminent and you don’t take corrective action, the brakes can apply automatically. But they’ll only activate if they’re needed.10118

Not only does available Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go10 help you keep your pace, it can also slow down your vehicle if the traffic ahead has stopped or slowed. As soon as things clear, you’ll get right back to where you left off. And that’s not the only way it levels up your cruise control experience. The added Lane Centering feature scans lane markings to help keep your F-150® on track. With Speed Sign Recognition to go along with it, you can stay up to speed, even if you missed the signs.10,174

AVAILABLE HILL DESCENT CONTROL™10

Hill Descent Control™10 is essentially a cruise control system that uses traction control technology with anti-lock brakes10. This system continually adjusts braking pressure to help control slippage and maintain a constant preset speed while you are going down a steep grade. This capability helps you concentrate on steering since you don’t have to apply the brakes or downshift the transmission. On a downhill grade, Hill Descent Control can maintain a vehicle speed between 3 and 20 kph.

Above 20 kph, the system remains activated, but the descent speed cannot be set until you are below 20 kph again.

Whether it means missing a flight or just losing your cool, a wrong turn can put a dent in your day. But like a Sherpa for trips large and small, the available Connected Built-In Navigation System can help you stay confidently on course. But that’s not all. It can also point you to the nearest convenience store or coffee shops.133

Traffic is rolling along smoothly when suddenly there’s a slow or stopped vehicle in your path. This available feature can help make it easier to potentially avoid a collision. It doesn’t steer for you, but it can provide extra steering support if the system’s warning goes off and you need to manoeuvre around the vehicle ahead.10

Parking made easy – even in tight parallel or reverse perpendicular spots. When engaged, it can help locate a potential spot. Then all you have to do is brake to a complete stop, shift into Neutral and hold down the Active Park Assist button – your vehicle does the rest. Available Active Park Assist 2.0 also offers park out assist with side-sensing capability so you can confidently navigate out of a parking spot when someone’s parked too close to you.9
