Working harder to help you work smarter.

Tough jobs require trucks that can take all the dirt and heat thrown at them — and then some. But while your truck must be built to work hard, you can work smart. That’s why Ford engineers have gone to great lengths to make the current generation of the F-150 so easy to operate, whether you’re inside the cab or working out of the pickup bed. F-Series offers a broad range of available features from the integrated tailgate step and deployable box steps to the 360-degree camera, SYNC® 390 , and SYNC® Connect. So you can work smarter, more productively.

Blind spot coverage for the F-150 truck and trailer

Available BLIS® with Cross-Traffic Alert and Trailer Coverage10

Available BLIS10 (Blind Spot Information System) signals you in the outside mirror when a vehicle is detected in a blind spot — and provides coverage for the truck you’re driving as well as the trailer you’re towing*. The cross-traffic alert feature can detect a vehicle passing behind when you’re slowly backing out of a driveway or parking place.10

*See owner’s manual for details.
Advanced cruise control helps you adapt to traffic ahead.

Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go10

Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go technology10  allows you to set a cruising speed and distance from the vehicle ahead. When activated, the stop-and-go feature automatically accelerates and brakes your truck while maintaining your pre-set distance. The stop-and-go technology can bring your vehicle to a complete stop in stopped traffic and resume as traffic begins to move*.

*If vehicle is stopped for more than three seconds, driver must intervene and press “RES” button or accelerator pedal to resume system operation.

Adaptive assistance for unexpected situations

Available Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection106

Available Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection106  adds to a suite of driver-assist technologies that can make your drive safer for both you and the world around you. If the system’s sensors detect a potential collision with a car or pedestrian in front of you, a warning flashes on the windshield and an audible alert sounds. The brakes will also precharge and increase brake-assist sensitivity to provide full responsiveness when you brake. If the driver does not take corrective action and a collision is imminent, brakes can automatically apply.

Lane-Keeping System

Lane-Keeping System10

The driver-activated Lane-Keeping System can alert you to unintentional lane drifting10*. Choose the lane-keeping alert mode that vibrates the steering wheel when you drift too close to a lane marker — or the lane-keeping aid mode that activates a directional steering torque to help guide you back to the centre of the lane. Or combine the effects of both modes: continue drifting after the steering torque is activated and the steering wheel adds the vibrating sensation.

*Lane-Keeping System does not control steering
