Four tiers of coverage to keep your vehicle on the road

Each Ford Protect Extended Service Plan covers major engine components, plus all gaskets, seals and internal engine parts.

• PremiumCARE covers the parts and the labour to repair over 1000+ vehicle components – engine, transmission, steering, brakes, front and rear suspension, electrical and more – all for up to 8 years or 200,000km (whichever comes first). Failure of covered components due to defects in materials and normal wear and tear are included.
• ExtraCARE covers 113 components of vehicle systems that impact driveability. Includes components covered by PowertrainCare and BaseCare with ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE.
• BaseCARE covers 84 components of vehicle systems that impact drivability. Includes components covered by PowertrainCare with ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE.
• PowertrainCARE covers 29 critical engine and transmission components. Includes ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE.

Protection for a carefree ownership experience

Debt Waiver is designed to protect your investment. If your Ford vehicle is stolen and not recovered or if it’s declared a total loss, your insurance company may not pay enough to satisfy what you still owe.

Debt Waiver bridges the difference between your finance balance and your vehicle’s insurance settlement. It can prevent you from owing money on a vehicle you no longer own and help get you back on the road (subject to conditions).

Exclusions

Debt Waiver does not provide benefits when loss or damage occurs:

• Due to fraud or intentional damage by you
• Prior to the total loss date
  
• Outside the U.S. or Canada
  
• After the repossession or surrender of the vehicle
• Due to legal confiscation by a public official
  
• If licensed, registered/titled in a business' name or used for business or has a salvage title
  

Additional Exclusions include:

• Late charges, delinquent payments and deferred payments
  
• Various refundable amounts due to you for early cancellation of financed products
  
• Termination and disposition fees

Shield yourself from unexpected wear and use expenses

Even the most conscientious driver cannot prevent the inevitable chips, dings and scratches caused by the road. That’s why we offer the option of WearCare. Choose to sign up for WearCare at the beginning of your lease and you’ll be protected from unexpected excess wear and use charges.

WearCare coverage waives excess wear and use charges up to $5,000 (subject to conditions). It helps leasing a Ford be a worry-free and enjoyable experience.

Exclusions

WearCare is designed to meet your needs; however, there are some program exclusions, such as:

• Excess kilometre charges
  
• Missing parts costing more than $150
  
• Damage caused by seizure, confiscation, racing, criminal acts, war, radiation, mechanical or electrical breakdown, improper repairs and alterations
