The "No Key Detected" message when using Phone As A Key™* means your vehicle is not detecting your phone within the interior cabin (i.e., inside your vehicle). Use the steps below to troubleshoot.
Troubleshooting the No Key Detected Message
- Move your phone closer to the center of the vehicle near the cup holder or center console (i.e., armrest area). If this does not resolve the issue, continue to step 2.
- Force close the Ford app and then reopen it. If this does not resolve the issue, continue to step 3.
- Turn your phone's Bluetooth® off and then back on.
