Why am I unable to add my Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to FordPass®*?
If you experience issues when attempting to add your VIN to FordPass, use the troubleshooting steps below.
Check the VIN:
- Check the VIN you entered.
- Ensure you entered the correct VIN.
Note: VINs do not include the letters I, O, and Q to avoid confusion with the numbers one and zero.
Try the Scan VIN option:
- Select the camera icon on the Add Vehicle screen.
- You will have the option to automatically add the VIN by scanning the VIN barcode on your door label.
