How do I update the contact information on my Ford accounts?

You can modify your name, address, phone number, and preferred units of measurement through the Ford app or the Ford website.

Changing Your Contact Details

Your Ford account on the Ford website and the Ford app account share the same username (email). Updating your information through any of the methods below will apply the changes to both your Ford and Ford app accounts.

Select the method you are using from the drop-down options below to learn how to update your Ford profile.

With a Mobile Device or Tablet

  1. Go to ford.ca.
  2. Tap the Menu dropdown.
  3. Select My Account​​​​​.
  4. Choose Sign In.
  5. Enter your username and password.
  6. Tap Sign In.
  7. Select the Account icon.
  8. Choose <Your Name's> Account.
  9. Scroll down to the "Manage Settings" section, then select Account Settings.
  10. Click Edit next to "Personal Information".
  11. Update all applicable contact information.
  12. Tap Update.

With a PC and Mac

  1. Go to ford.ca.
  2. Select the Account icon.
  3. Choose Sign In.
  4. Enter your username and password.
  5. Select the Account icon.
  6. Choose <Your Name's> Account.
  7. Scroll down to the "Manage Settings" section, then select Account Settings.
  8. Click Edit next to "Personal Information".
  9. Update all applicable contact information.
  10. Select Update.

With the Ford App

  1. Open the Ford app.
  2. Tap the Account icon.
  3. Select Account Information.
  4. Update all applicable contact information.
  5. Tap Save.

Important: To change the country associated with your profile: 

  1. Log out of the Ford app.
  2. Select Country on the log in page.
  3. Choose the correct country. 

Notes: 

  • If you need to update your contact information with your Ford Dealer, notify them directly.
  • If you sold your vehicle or moved and need to update your address, contact our Customer Relationship Centre at 1-800-565-3673. Also, be sure to take all necessary steps as required by federal and provincial law in the sale and transfer of a vehicle.
