BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) With Trailer Coverage10

How many times have you tensed up during an attempted lane change on a busy freeway? With BLIS, you won’t have to bother your passenger with “Can I get over?”. This feature can help detect and alert you to vehicles in your blind spots, while Cross-Traffic Alert can detect traffic behind you when you’re slowly backing out of a parking spot or driveway. Trailer Coverage can help ease lane-change anxiety – even with a trailer in tow. It can alert you not only when a vehicle is spotted in your blind spots but also when one is alongside the trailer10.

Available Pro Trailer Backup Assist 2.09

Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned pro, backing up with a trailer can be challenging. This available feature makes it as easy as turning a knob – simply rotate in the direction you want the trailer to go and the available Pro Trailer Backup Assist 2.09 responds accordingly. *
*Driver-assist features are supplemental and do not replace the driver’s attention, judgment and need to control the vehicle.

Available Intersection Assist10

It’s not easy to traverse a busy intersection, especially when you need to consider other vehicles around you. Intersection Assist can help. Available Intersection Assist uses the front camera and radar sensors to detect oncoming traffic while you are attempting to turn left. If there’s a risk of a potential collision with an oncoming vehicle, your vehicle can alert you and apply the brakes. * This just might give you more confidence when attempting to make a left turn at an intersection10.
*Driver-assist features are supplemental and do not replace the driver’s attention, judgment and need to control the vehicle. Intersection Assist does not detect all vehicles in intersections, pedestrians or cyclists. It does not replace safe driving. See Owner’s Manual for details and limitations.

Available Pre-Collision Assist® With Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) and Intersection Assist10,118

We should all drive defensively, but sometimes other people’s lack of attention can create a hazard. This feature scans the road ahead and can alert you to potential collisions with vehicles or pedestrians detected in your path. If an impact becomes imminent and you don’t take corrective action, the brakes can apply automatically10,118.

Available Active Park Assist 2.09

Parking made easy – even in tight parallel or reverse perpendicular spots. When engaged, it can help locate a potential spot. Then all you have to do is brake to a complete stop, shift into Neutral and hold down the Active Park Assist button – your vehicle does the rest. Available Active Park Assist 2.09 also offers Park Out Assist with side-sensing capability so you can confidently navigate out of a parking spot when someone’s parked too close to you10.

Available Lane-Centring Assist10

It happens. Maybe you’re caught up listening to your favourite podcast or need your morning latte, but you’ve wandered a little too close to the edge of your lane. Luckily, the Lane-Centring System Assist10 can help you stay in your lane, even during a moment of distraction. This smart feature scans your vehicle’s position between the lines in the road ahead and can alert you if you’re starting to edge out of your lane. After you’ve drifted a few times, you’ll see a coffee cup icon, letting you know it’s time to take a break10.

Available Reverse Brake Assist10

Backing up just got a lot less stressful. Available Reverse Brake Assist10 can detect both stationary and moving objects behind your vehicle – alerting you to potential hazards like garage pillars and distracted pedestrians. Not only that, it can apply the brakes if you don’t stop in time. The system can even detect vehicles crossing your path behind you at up to 59.55 kph. *
*Driver-assist features are supplemental and do not replace the driver’s attention, judgment and need to control the vehicle.

Available Evasive Steering Assist10

It happens. Traffic is rolling along smoothly when suddenly there’s a slow or stopped vehicle in your path. This available feature can help make it easier to potentially avoid a collision10. It doesn’t steer for you, but it can provide extra steering support if the system’s warning goes off and you need to maneuver around the vehicle ahead. *
*Driver-assist features are supplemental and do not replace the driver’s attention, judgment and need to control the vehicle.

Available Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control With Stop-and-Go10,174

Few driving situations can feel as tedious as stop-and-go traffic. Enter Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Stop-and-Go. You can think of it as next-level cruise control. Not only does ACC help you keep pace on your journey, but it can also slow down your vehicle if the traffic ahead has stopped or slowed. * When things clear, you’ll resume your set speed10,174.
*Driver-assist features are supplemental and do not replace the driver’s attention, judgment and need to control the vehicle.

Available Ford Trail Control10

Advanced technology like available Ford Trail Control10 works with the braking and throttle systems to help give you control on rough, uneven terrain and steep grades.

*Always consult the Owner’s Manual when off-road driving, know your terrain and trail difficulty, and use appropriate safety gear. Ford is committed to the preservation of the environment and treading lightly.
